Long Description:
Cloud Empress uses the lightweights rules system, the Panic Engine, originally designed for Mothership to tell poignant stories in a land ruled by giant psychic cicadas, inspired by classic works of ecological science-fantasy, such as Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind. This adventure will be a short hexcrawl, investigating rumors of a new sickness sweeping over the Breadbasket. At the beginning of the session we will have a short rules explanation and create characters together. Content warning: large bugs, body horror, mental illness, blood, amputation, military occupation, gun violence, and execution.
