Face off versus the creator of Fluxx in this 1 vs. The Crowd extravaganza.
Description:
Everybody will be playing a version of Fluxx or other Looney-designed games that can be played in this venue. Andy Looney will be one of the players at each table, but he won’t have a chair — instead, there will be a small flag at his spot, which the group will raise whenever his turn comes around. When Andy sees the flag go up, he will run over to your table, take his turn, and lower the flag. If anyone wins (except Andy) then a win is counted for Everybody. Andy typically wins about a third of the time, but maybe this time, Andy will win more than Everybody!
Remember the text adventure DOS games from the 80s? PARSEly is like that, but Andy Looney is the computer describing locations and "parsing" commands.
Description:
Andy Looney has written ten original games for the PARSEly system. All of his games are unpublished and can only be played with him in person. The group will choose from the full menu of options. If a shorter game is chosen, they may get to play one or two other short games, while the longer games will take the entire session. The shorter games are: Trapped!, Ducks on a Plane, Red Alert, Alice's Adventures Under the Table, and Back in 5 Minutes. The longer games are: Muffins, Fun World, Crowther's Cave, and In Search of Pip. (PARSEly was created by Jared Sorensen, who launched the system with his game Action Castle back in 2009.)
