Children vanish in an icy wasteland. The spirits stir and promise endless winter. Can you find the children, and appease the spirits?
Description:
Travellers on a Red Road is a lightweight system for survival in a harsh, magical world of spirits and conflicting clans. Think OSR in style. Its rules can be found for free on drivethrurpg. The game takes place in the unjust land of Oratsa. It's also a land of innovation and gunpowder. Ruling families vie for control against dogmatic cults. The spirits feed off the violence of humanity and manifest deeper darkness. You must traverse that darkness to save the children.
Based on Shakespeare's play, King Lear, but with a lich. (In the same spirit as MacDeath, which was MacBeth but with orcs.) Expect drama, intrigue, and lots of undead.
Description:
King Lear has divided Britain between his daughters, Goneril and Regan. His third daughter, Cordelia, was disinherited and married off to the king of France. Now there are reports of the dead rising in Cornwall and Albany, and Cordelia fears that her father has been betrayed.
A terraforming vessel that was lost before modern times has appeared in far space. Your crew has been contracted for a deep cryo-sleep mission to investigate.
Description:
Long ago Earth became unviable for life, and humanity took to its sparse colonies. Among them were terraformers on a search for a new home. One such ship has been located beyond mother space. You are sent on a "mission of no return," intended to spend months in cryo-sleep for a big payoff. You can't afford to come back empty-handed. Find ancient Earth artifacts and you'll be set for the rest of your days. Just pray the ship is devoid of life.
This game retells the events of The Fall of Gondolin, the first story Tolkien ever wrote for Middle Earth. I'm using a mix of rules from The One Ring RPG and homebrew rules for mass combat.
Description:
The year is 510 F.A. For the last seven years, no spy or scout of Morgoth has been seen near the Vale of Tumladen. Healing from the bitter memory of war, the elves of Gondolin are celebrating a festival of peace called the Gates of Summer. As they await the sunrise on the high walls, a red light shines—not in the east, but in the north where hidden gates bar all passage in or out.
Note that this is a combat-heavy adventure. All PCs are elf captains of elite skill and honor.
The Lost Citadel: Twisting Paths and Twisted Passions
Summary:
In the last city of Zileska, any incursion of The Dead is a reminder of impending extinction. When the Dead strike without warning, it is up to you to investigate.
Description:
You play as a member of a motley crew of investigators (3rd level characters). Expect to confront the evils in Redoubt, the last city, until you locate the source of the Dead. The Lost Citadel is an apocalyptic setting with bespoke rules published by Green Ronin. Each character has a custom class, species, and so on. It's also rather grimdark. Be advised that slavery is rampant in this setting and other heavy content may arise.
This is an NSR-ish fantasy ttrpg I've been developing since 2025. The example adventure in the back of the book will be The Spike in Old Lutz. Come try it out before publication.
Description:
Local legends tell of an old bishop, Father Lutzinger, who committed some grave sin long ago and was forsaken by Aster. The church where he's buried now in the Dark Forest, not far from Wolfsbarrow. An old tomb like that is bound to be filled with treasure, and there are rumors of a metal spike made of gold.
Playtest my fantasy tabletop role playing game system, The Dark Forest. We may spend up to 1 hour first learning rules, then playing through my original adventure scenario.
Description:
Local legends tell of an old bishop, Father Lutz, who committed some grave sin long ago and was forsaken by Aster. The church where he's buried is now part of the Dark Forest, not terribly far from Wolfsbarrow. An old tomb like that is bound to be filled with treasure, and there are rumors of some weapon inside made of gold.
A haunted cemetery lies at the top of a cold mountain—are you brave and stalwart enough to recover its treasures?
Description:
The classic adventure by James Raggi for Lamentations of the Flame Princess. This is weird fantasy role-playing, OSR-style.
(Note: I will change the adventure the minute I suspect you're familiar with this adventure, so please don't spoil the fun if you already know DFD.)
In the Dark Forest, there's an old church with no doors where a cursed bishop was laid to rest. They say his tomb is filled with treasure, and there's a spear tipped with gold.
Description:
This is the debut of my original system and setting at GenCon. It's an unorthodox fantasy tabletop rpg, so be prepared to try out some new rules. Premade characters available.
