A Bracket 2 MTG Commander tournament where participants bring decks thematically inspired by their favorite RPGs. Prizes are awarded for performance in the tournament and implementation of theme.
Description:
We’ve tried to settle the argument with reasoned debate and snarky posts on social media. It’s time to definitively settle which RPG is best in the ultimate arena: Bracket 2 Commander. Participants must arrive with a complete bracket 2-deck with a commander and 99 thematically linked to their favorite tabletop RPG. Proxies are allowed. There will be custom planar deck variant rules based on RPGs to add a novel challenge to the competition. This is a non-elimination tournament. Participants are awarded points based on the order they were defeated in each round. Everyone will play at least three games. After each game, players will vote for the deck that featured their favorite theme. After the final round, points will be tallied and votes will be counted. Winners in each category will get to choose prizes and inarguably claim that their chosen system is the best RPG in 2026.

Sign up for this adventuring party and find out what really happens when the lights go out in the dungeon.

A session of the baffling 1979 officially licensed RPG based on the 1978 soap opera “Dallas” with a bizarre sci-fi twist. You don’t need to know anything about Dallas to play.
Description:
While embroiled in their regular scheming and backstabbing, the oil magnates of the Ewing family discover their land is also home to an interdimensional portal connecting them to parallel universes. If there is one thing a true Ewing knows, it’s that where there are deals to be made, there is money and power to follow. Players take on the role of characters from Dallas split across many worlds. To start, you will be divided into groups in separate universes where your characters have a tangled web of power, relationships, and goals. Each universe will have a sci-fi tongue-in-cheek quirk that layers an outlandish sci-fi quirk onto the usual Dallas melodrama. Then a portal will open, allowing characters to hop between worlds, causing chaos and making their goals possible in new ways. We’re using the basic Dallas system with a few original mechanics to accommodate this strange premise.
