Description:
Over the course of New Orleans' history, there have been many attempts at ceding control from the Camarilla which has oppressed it for centuries. The Prince of Baton Rouge overextends their influence day by day, making it more difficult to do literally anything. Well, it's time for a change in leadership. This event will take place in the World of Darkness system, and will be exclusively following Vampire. Players will be handed pre-generated templates of their choice. This event is a one-shot.
When a small town's placid surface begins to peel away, one thing is certain: whatever supernatural factions are lurking here, they're about to get crashed, hard.

Welcome, new Exalts, to Whispering Pines! Whether you grew up here, drifted in, or have just arrived for tourist season, there's plenty to see. Swim or fish in our placid lakes! Hike our scenic woodland trails! Visit our local community college, or take a tour of the research facility in the old mine outside of town! Read up on the town's history and the founding role of our foremost family! Have a coffee down at the cafe! As we like to say: everything's fine in Whispering Pines! And why wouldn't it be? Everything's fine here, if you don't look too close. But when the small-town patriarch's caretaker reaches out to you for help, there may not be another option. This game uses the 2021 Revised Edition of Holden Shearer's unofficial supplement Exalted vs. World of Darkness, a guide for playing Exalts within the setting and Storyteller system characteristic of the World of Darkness.

Sometimes at the brink of all out war between supernatural beings, the Oaths that bind them serve not only to protect the different factions from one another, but also to protect the City from the ominous location known as the Banewell. Local legends hold the Banewell comes from the time of the founding of the city itself, and holds any number of unspeakable beings, entities, and more. The system for this game is Old World of Darkness. This is an ongoing, continuous game following our New Orleans chapter of our world which spans the last 8 years. Interested players can seek to join us on our discord server to work on a character. This is not a one shot series as choices, goals, and interactions between players carry on from night to night, as well as year to year.

A murder mystery threatens to expose dark secrets, featuring an on-going 3-night plot that is also open to 1 & 2-night players.

We create an environment that allows for cross-genre experiences. Werewolves, Vampires, Mages, and Changelings will all be featured characters in the game. Our website gives information about our plot and how to work with us to set-up a character for the game in advance. We strongly encourage rp and costuming. While we run in Old World of Darkness, we also have a "homebrew" feel to add mystery and wow to a classic game system.
We will have a set-up session scheduled at 6:00 PM for new players and character check-in.
