Strange warty-skinned, bat-winged creatures bursts from the ground to attack the villagers, and rumors from travelers suggest something even more menacing is afoot, tearing pilgrims limb from limb in a bloody rampage throughout the forest. Your village is running out of time. Heroes are needed to find out what’s going on… and why. Maybe some secret lies in the old abandoned tower nearby? To not bring dread to the kingdom, the “most trusted” members of the king’s court sneak out of the castle with his royal highness and travel south to the lair of the reclusive beast Vitiatus.
