On the streets of New York the war between the Wizards and the Vampires rages. Now the minor talents of the NYC Paranet are caught in the crossfire, and prey to things that lurk in the shadows. Come play this long form, multi-session game set in Jim Butcher's Dresden Files universe, using Evil Hat's award winning Dresden Files Roleplaying Game adapted to their newest system Fate Core. This event is the third of three connected sessions (LongCon) with continuing characters and plots. Registering for the first session covers all three.
A plague of madness affecting humans & supernatural alike is spreading through Detroit. Will the protagonists be able to discover the cause & stop it? (Dresdenverse, but uses no book characters.)
Description:
Detroit, Michigan; Motor City. Humans, fae, vampires, and even a hedge wizard have been found in debilitating states of insanity. Neither pattern nor culprit has been determined and the various communities have sent representatives--your characters--to determine the cause and, if possible, stop it.
The game uses the Dresdenverse setting and FATE rules, but does not use the characters from the book. Dresden Files familiarity is not required. Knowledge of the FATE system and how to use aspects is requested (even if it's a passing or academic knowledge). I can help point to websites or sources if pre-event reading is desired.

Legends of the South is a group of four individual Dresden games; characters and dice will be available for use. Each game takes its theme from a real-world folk-tale/legend. In this game, players will investigate murders than appear to parallel legends of beheading along the North Carolina coasts.
