Her boss, the abrasive Dr. Fisher, has long obsessed over the cold and empty darkness of space—and after some sort of mental breakdown, Fisher’s obsession resulted in dangerous and unnatural events. The observatory’s main telescope is leaking viscous, liquid darkness that has flooded the building and consumed most of its personnel.
After hearing the lone survivor’s statement, investigators must find a way to staunch the flood. If they fail, the liquid void won’t stop at just the observatory.
