In the darkness, there is warmth, shelter and safety. Or at least that is what the residents of the Beach Tunnel Terminal used to believe. Living in the abandoned tunnel network of New York City, a community of homeless have banded together to create a refuge for those displaced by their circumstances. However, their safe haven has come under an unearthly threat. Monsters seemingly made of shadows have attacked the residents of the Beach Tunnel Terminal in search of something in the underground. Now the residents must find a way to stop the attacks or risk losing their home, and possibly their lives.

He is not one for false alarmism, so what could this crisis be? Perhaps the year of our Lord 1893 will be an interesting one... This long form Call of Cthulhu round serves as a prequel to the epic Horror on the Orient Express campaign from Chaosium and is one of the new scenarios included in the new edition. Players in this event will take the roles of Victorian gentlemen (and perhaps ladies). The round will feature audio and visual elements as well as props and clues for an atmospheric and epic adventure. Players will receive copies of the custom made handouts and a special gift.
