The King's death was not ENTIRELY unexpected, considering his long illness, but the coup by his once trusted advisor should probably have been seen coming. His daughter had to flee the castle with a few trusted friends and retainers.
You must infiltrate the castle to retrieve the Monarch's Mantle, an item of great magical and cultural importance. With it, the True Queen can prove her legitimacy. Tonight, the lack of moon and heavy fog will provide the ideal amount of cover to make your attempt, but you'll only get one chance. If you fail, the Mantle will surely be hidden where it will never be found. If you're caught, it's the gallows.
