Fearing that she has been kidnapped by exotics slavers, her manager has hired a group of mercenaries to track down her kidnappers and safely recover Charity. The only clue was cook taking out the trash behind the Nightingale. He swears he spotted an unconscious Charity, in a cage, on the back of a treaded truck heading north out of town. Can Charity be found before she ends up the entertainment and appraiser for some demon?

The well respected Kingsdale Senator Alfred Rothchild's beloved niece has apparently run away from her loving family and long term stay with the Rothchild's. The niece, Faith Giraud, was well known for her up lifting spirit and bright childish personality. Having been a guest of Senator Rothchild's since her mother and father were killed in a horrible accident many years ago, she has been the apple of the Senator's eye for many years. Shortly after Faith's sixteenth birthday, a change came over Faith. She become a bit more moody. The last time Faith was seen, she and her uncle were having a disagreement. Then less than 12 hours later the Senator put out a reward for her return. What was the argument about?
