While on a routine survey mission, your crew discovers an empty Imperial escape pod. That is when things got interesting, as they often do on the edge of the empire.

You and your survey crew were assigned to explore and catalog planet LV-426 with the intent of determining the planets potential value (or lack there of) to the Empire. As a third party contractor, working for the Empire has at times left a bad taste in your mouth. But generally the money is good and getting paid to do what you are good at is generally not a bad thing. This assignment started off like so many others. LV-426 was a potentially resource rich planet, devoid of self-aware life forms, which appeared to have what was desired for Imperial acquisition and management. It was strange when you discovered an Imperial escape pod on planet. It appeared to have been here for some time and finding it empty suggested survivors. That was when things got interesting, as they often do out here on the edge of the empire.
