Utica, NY is a city of icy nights, and those nights are full of teeth. Bloodsuckers, skinchangers, and other things take trips down Varick Street to catch some prey, and maybe a beer. People who came to this city years ago, looking for hope, turn their tarnished deadbolts at night to keep out the howling beasts and the hungry-eyed humans. And there you are, stuck in between, a beast of the night and a hungry human all at once. In a place where the other monsters are pushing in all the time, and you have to bare your fangs just to keep what's yours - but each time you do, you come one step closer to being just like them - what do you choose to be? What do you become? Urban fantasy in the vein of The Dresden Files & Angel.

Main inspirations are The Dresden Files, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Supernatural, & Angel. Using the strong narrative and character-focused engine of the apocalypse, players will play dynamic protagonists who struggle to fight back the darkness while fighting the demons within themselves. This event is the first of three connected sessions (LongCon) with continuing characters and plots. Registering for the first session covers all three.
