Far away from his home planet, Canal Martian boy Kime lives on the estate of Lord Feltam Hithe who shows the orphaned child's levitation abilities off to entertain his curious guests during his illustrious dinner parties. Now the child has disappeared and a particularly capable group of dinner guests (the players) volunteer to find (and rescue?) the child. The adventure requires cunning, wit, and a willingness to travel over 180 million miles in the world of Space 1889. Pre-gen characters and quick-start rules are provided. Hidden high in the mountains and cloud cover lies a city, Jing Shen Jia, built in a natural valley. For generations, the people of Jing Shen Jia have lived peaceful and quiet lives, detached from the outside world. The city is a self- sufficient human society. The level 14 adventurers arrive at a time of great dissent. The younger generation has become restless of being confined to their city. Keiran, a particularly ambitious individual, has become the spokesperson for the group. After continued rejections from the Council, the group has lost faith in their leadership. Many of the younger people distrust the Council, believing that they are hiding something from them.
