Theyve got a monopoly on this technology and their actions ensure that anyone with implanted memories stay implanted even if those memories could open up an entirely new field of knowledge. The corporation hires SafeStarr to keep its hands clean. SafeStarr is a private military contractor used by many of the corporations throughout the solar system. These mercenaries are often used to break strikes, intimidate workers and chase down anyone thats pushed back against the harsh condition on Mars - including the rebellious heroes!
