Level 20 one-shot! Your characters must defend the city of Waterdeep from a hoard of invading tarrasques, and close the portal connecting your beloved metropolis with a strange far off planet. This adaptation of the James Introcaso's famous adventure will run about 3.5 hours and is intended to be a stressful, exciting, and silly power fantasy. I will have pre-generated level 20 characters, but feel free to bring your own. Stats should be using point buy or standard array, feats are allowed, and any official race and class are permitted. Outfit your characters with magic items including 1 legendary, 1 very rare, and 1 uncommon from any WOTC product. I'm definitely open to non-WOTC classes, just want to avoid strange builds that sideline other players. I run light hearted games, and while I would love to teach new players, this isn't a good adventure for that.

The stories they tell each other in the backrooms and bedrooms are far different, stories of mad robots run amok. There is an unofficial but very prevalent code of silence that pervades everything with people happily looking the other way without the desire to know what happens next. Technophiles believe in APs are the next elevation of consciousness, quite literally, a God in the Machine. Rather than take risks, politicians and corporate decision makers sit on their hands, afraid of doing something wrong, willing to face the disastrous consequences of inaction, just to never put themselves in harm's way.

The Rebel Alliance desperately needs replacement coolant hydro-valves for its base on the superheated planet Obas. If the valves don't reach the base in time, invaluable weaponry, data, and medical supplies will melt into slag, and the base's personnel will burn to cinders. You must infiltrate a small Imperial supply depot in the Expansion Region, steal a case of hydro-valves, return to Obas, and install the valves before meltdown.
Alas! Your character is in massive debt from wizard school, or the thieves guild or, uh, or something. A mysterious entity, the Magic Gatherer, has a solution: steal the Deck of Many Things.
