Come build tabletop terrain out of household debris and bits that most gamers have on hand. You will make a piece for your TTRGP. This class is for all ages who love tabletop games and making stuff.
Description:
Learn to make tabletop terrain with things you probably have around the house or are easy to obtain. This class will teach people the fundamentals of creating great tabletop terrain at home. We will focus on basic items that you can collect from the hardware store and stuff that you're probably getting ready to throw away. Attendees do not need to bring anything but their imagination and a love for their favorite tabletop game. We will supply the basic tools and supplies needed to create a small to medium sized piece of terrain you will take home. The plan is to show a variety of styles of terrain but ultimately the individual applicants should plan to spend about 2 hours on creating one piece of terrain. Each person will have created something that they can take pride in and use. Some of the techniques we plan to show are working with Styrofoam, cardboard and texturing among others.

Well cover the types of metals that are often painted on miniatures and how they naturally corrode with a focus on the colors each metal turns as it oxidizes or tarnishes. By the end of this class, you will understand what colors to use when painting corroding metals and how to quickly apply them to create a convincing effect on your miniatures no matter the extent of the corrosion you want. Required skills: This is an effect that is appropriate for newer painters. A miniature will be provided for each student in the class as well as a detailed handout covering the fundamentals for painting rust and corrosion. There will be brushes and paints available for use. If you want to bring your own brush, you are welcome to. I would not recommend using a good quality brush for this class as stippling will quickly damage or even destroy a good brush.

Dev with Raggy Paints will be hosting this class. This is a practical class, you will get the opportunity to practice what is being taught. A model and handout is provided as part of the class. All other required items will be provided however bringing your own equipment (particularly brushes) is highly recommended.

Sometimes naming techniques can make them frightening to try. In this workshop we will go over painting from a black basecoat up to a bright and vibrant highlight. We will cover smooth transitions, painting texture, color selection, and painting without washes.
The model provided will be the Wolfthorne model from Dragon Trappers Lodge.
Some paint and brushes will be available but feel free to bring your own!
