A supernatural struggle breaks down a university’s social barriers, if only briefly. A story focusing on social interactions, politics and a healthy dose of drama.
Description:
Pisgah University is a remote haven of thought, prosperity and promise. Tucked into the Appalchian wilderness, Pisgah has roots dating back to the first European settlers. Its alumni include many CEOs, Nobel prize winners, world leaders, and tech giants. Generous grants offer students from modest means a small taste of privilege, and in return they owe service to the university. Something sinister is rising, and a small, diverse group will find themselves channeling ancient powers to shape the university’s future. This is a game of secrets, opinions, and choice with a supernatural metaphor not a game of supernatural special abilities. This is a story of class and privilege and the price of ambition and of conscience. A social interaction game with a taste of politics and a healthy dose of drama.

Only once Tirtha is again the realm of humanity can the dead king be laid to rest, and the struggle of existence continue.

A proximity alert brings the ship lurching out of hyperspace. A rush of movement as passengers and crew are propelled into lifeboats by alarm klaxons. As the small ships detach, there is a moment of calm, but time is running out. Adrift explores relationships, allegiances, acceptance, very difficult decisions and their equally difficult consequences. Death and the meaning and value of life are major themes. This game has little focus on plot, action, or problem solving. It has a significant focus on characters and choosing to experience a time and place in game we would never want to experience in reality.
