Girls will spend the day exploring Gen Con - the largest gaming convention in the United States. Meet with game designers and artists, play-test board, card, electronic and role playing games. Explore the world of anime. And so much more! Cost includes a day pass into Gen Con and admission into special Girl Scout events and Council's Own "Girls got Game" IP. Omar Rayyan is known as the “bug man†and was one of the artists who contributed concept art for “The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe†movie! Join him in the Family Fun Pavilion as he does a drawing demonstration for kids and talks about his children’s books. Fun for the whole family! Omar is Gen Con’s Artist Guest of Honor this year.
Games are fun to play and even more fun to create with David Niecikowski, MAED/CI, a published game designer and educator! Children will create their own board or card game to take home and enjoy with their friends and families. Just bring your creativity because all materials are provided.
