Build a beautiful Moorish palace in Alhambra. Collect money, purchase tiles, and expand your complex with gardens, towers, and halls while competing for the most valuable estate.
Description:
In Alhambra, players build their own palace complex inspired by the famous Spanish landmark. Collect different currencies and use them to purchase building tiles such as gardens, pavilions, towers, and chambers. Each turn, players may collect money, buy a building tile from the market, or rearrange parts of their palace. Tiles must be placed carefully so every building remains connected to the central palace without walls blocking access. Managing your walls and layout is key to scoring well. Throughout the game, scoring rounds reward players who have the largest number of buildings of each type. Long outer walls can also earn valuable points. With simple rules but plenty of strategic decisions, Alhambra offers a relaxed yet competitive tile-building experience.
See if you can fool your friends into believing that your made-up answer is the real one!
Description:
Each card in this bluffing party game features five categories: Words, Movies, People, Acronyms, and Laws. For the chosen category, the active player reads an obscure term or description that most players will not recognize. All other players secretly write their own made-up explanation of what it could mean. Meanwhile, the active player copies the real answer from the back of the card. All responses are collected, shuffled, and read aloud, including the real one. Players then vote on which explanation they believe is correct. Players earn points for guessing the real answer or for fooling others into choosing their fake explanation. The active player can earn points if no one guesses the correct answer. Categories include obscure word definitions, little-known movie plots, unusual historical figures, mysterious acronyms, and strange real laws from locations across the United States.
