Previous crochet experience is required; participants will be expected to know how to crochet in the round and should be comfortable with the fundamental stitches of crochet. A complete beginner to crochet can still sign up for this event provided they learn these techniques first. Alternatively, you can learn all of the required skills through participating in the Beginner and Intermediate crochet workshops. Supplies will be provided, and will be yours to keep after the event.

Participants will learn the techniques used to crochet in the round, and will also explore specialized stitch patterns. We’ll combine our new knowledge to work on several patterns that will be available to demonstrate these techniques.Following this workshop, you will have all of the skills needed for the Dragon Egg Dice Bag Workshop. This workshop will require that you already know how to begin crochet projects and complete them, as well as being familiar with and comfortable using single, double, and triple crochet stitches. If you are completely new to crochet, we recommend checking out the Beginner Crochet Workshop, which teaches the basics of crochet and constructing flat objects. Supplies will be provided, and will be yours to keep after the event.
