Description:
The Rebels have found the Death Star plans and identified a hidden weakness. Can they destroy the Death Star, or will the Imperials rewrite Star Wars history and destroy the Rebel Base on Yavin 4? This scenario recreates the iconic assault on the Death Star, and features the Red and Gold Squadrons as they assault the Death Star and make their trench runs hoping to send a proton torpedo down the exhaust port. This epic scenario will be played on a 3’ x 6’ magnetic Warmat, and features large 3D turbolasers. It uses a slightly modified ruleset based on Biff Denzer’s variant of Dagobah Dave’s “Trench Run” as posted on Boardgamegeek.com (see link).

Join a squad of Rebel fighters in their attempt to cover a covert team of slicers inserted into a comm relay station. With enough time, the slicer team will identify the proper channel and reroute it for the Rebellion to securely monitor the activities of Imperial forces in the surrounding area. Prior X-Wing experience needed, but no experience with the Heroes of the Aturi Cluster (HotAC) system is needed. We will teach you the finer points of this cooperative, RPG style of play for X-Wing. All materials will be provided, including pre-configured Rebel fighters available to fly this mission. Expect to see deadly Corellian Corvettes, sleek Imperial Raiders, notorious Scum C-ROCs and all the other huge ships on the table! Each player will select from several preset huge ships - no small or large base ships allowed! Casual matches will be organized pickup-style as participants arrive. Games will not be organized in a tournament format. All game components will be supplied.
